E-Trade vs TD Ameritrade (Online Brokers)

I am wanting to get in to the market. Outside of my 401k, I have no investments (been working and out of college for just over a year now). And I have my eye on a few right now.
Which online broker site does everyone use and why?
And what are any tips/stocks that you're watching at this time?

I use Ameritrade to buy commission free ETFs. That's why I like it.
