Pelinni has 51 months left on his contract, so he can draw 7.6 to 7.9 million for sitting at home. No way he coaches in the next four years. Cha Ching on the Huskers.

Or he gets another job and makes a few more million on top of getting paid from Nebraska. Get 2 checks from 2 different schools. At 1 point Charlie Weiss was getting checks from 3 diff schools.

Now that's cha ching.

I'm quite confident he'll be coaching someone's defense next year.

I think you underestimate the competitiveness and drive of most highly successful coaches

Most people don't like sitting on their arse. Not when you can make mad cash especially. Keep it Trill Bo.

As long as it does not eclipse 1.8, he is rolling in green.

Something to that Salmon. BP always seemed like an intense guy. Sometimes intensity is masked, but not in Bo's case.

He was a good Sabanite carryover. And fierce as they come. I wish him the best. He spent much personal time at St Aloysius helping with special causes. Class act guy. Maybe he could coach our DL

He had pretty good results with overall wins, so I could see him coaching soon. They were respectable with him, but he didn't win many big ones and had a few embarrassing defensive performances here and there.

Usually you have to make a good faith effort to find other employment, and if you get another job, the payout is reduced by the amount of your salary. So the 7+ mm is the most he'll make.

Yeah, goofy word , but I think he means Fisher was the OC and DC Muschamp, coach Pelini was gone already after 2003. Even though FSU and Jimbo have won 29 in a row and a NC I can see what he means........

ETA: I so royally screwed up my post as I did on making my point about three former coordinators under Saban. Jimbo had left, then Pelini after the 2007 NC. The 3 have been head coaches for the past few years.
My point, Jimbo Fisher has been doing a decent job at FSU, to say the least.

It doesn't work like that. If he gets another job Nebraska pays the difference between the 2 jobs if the job pays less. It just guarantees that his pay doesn't decrease during the remainder of his contract

He left LSU properly. He did not hold press conferences for weeks saying he was not leaving. He did not chew out the local media for speculating on his exit. He did not pretend negotiations for his exit were not underway.

He just stepped up and said he was leaving for a more lucrative position to better himself and his family. Saban left like an arse. BP left like a man. He was not the best DC ever but he was good. I like him.
