Was it the running game?

Brees had zero time to throw in the 1st quarter and was constantly getting crushed. I was worried he wasn't going to finish the game.

While we still had some pressures, Brees had some very clean pockets to step into and just picked them apart

He was open before that, but we couldn't get him the ball.

Drew's deep ball is as good as it has ever been. They had a big play in the 3rd quarter where I was absolutely shocked at the protection Drew had.

And it always has been for the past 8 years. Tired of people bringing up that he's washed up and done. Most of the turnovers have come when the interior line crumbles and Brees has to force the ball. He has definitely made some questionable throws, but people blaming just him are imbeciles. Adding Ingrams running will just make the deep ball even better with the addition of the play action.

I won't go that far. Brees to Henderson and Meachem was pretty ridiculous. We haven't had a consistent deep threat since 2011 though, so a drop off should be expected. With the emergence of the Stills, the deep ball has seemed to come back better than ever.

2014 doesn't include the Steelers game. I'd expect a big jump based on that. It has been insane since the bye week
