two generations of Latin Americans hate Reagan and the GOP

I was talking to a friend of mine from Costa Rica. He tells me that people born from 1980 onward are told that Reagan supported right wing dictators like Pinochet in Chile and right-wing military governments in El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador. It's region wide. The vast majority of Latin Americans are not rich members of the upper classes like the 13 families of El Salvador and the 4 families of Honduras and the right-wing evangelical protestants of Guatemala.
Reagan supported death squads in El Salvador and Guatemala.
Plus he told me that when immigrants from Latin America come to the US they see that the vast majority of brown Latino politicians are Democrats and they gravitate toward the Democrats because of that and Pope Francis is seen as a liberal.
So the GOP is screwed when Latin Americans come to the US and Ted Cruz and Rubio and George P. Bush can't do anything about it.

I talked to a black guy yesterday and he told me that they are tired of the Democrats and socialist policies.
According to him, blacks will start supporting Republicans at a 50+% rate.
Democrats and socialism have no shot in the future.

Why do you think we Republicans are so against immigration of Hispanics? Not only is it because they take our jobs, commit crime, and smell bad, but they will also vote for Democrats in droves who will further enact liberal policies that will destroy rich, white America as we know it.

I love how people single out reagan and dictators when virtually every single president has to support one group of bad guys over another. Left wing terrorist groups in south america were awful.

Ironic. Since Reagan effectively granted amnesty to 3 million illegal immigrants when he signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
