Saints are 4-7 going on the road to 7-4 Steelers
Saints have to travel on a short week
Steelers have a bye week and were healthy. Tomlin was 5-2 coming off a bye

It was impressive but it is absolutely unacceptable the way the defense let their foot off the gas in the 4th.

I know you're not playing for style points in the NFL but you play to win the game and make sure your opponent has no chance of winning. The defense gave the steelers every chance they could in the 4th. That was unacceptable.

The game was not close. Wtf are you talking about?
The saints didn't get a first down the last two times they had the ball, forced pitt to run clock and even with scoring about as quickly as possible and converting two point conversions pitt still didn't have enough possessions to try to tie the game.

And this is what takes away the dominant aspect of the win. It's a good win but the atrocious defense in the 4th quarter nullified what was considered a dominant win early in the 4th. We didn't finish the game.

they knew the steelers couldnt win it and gave up the stuff in the middle to burn the clock. which is exactly what happened and eventually gave us the win.
do you not think we wouldve had a different plan if more time was on the clock? we knew where they were and what to do to win.

Jesus, please tell me this isn't the takeaway from the majority of saints fans from this game today. I keep seeing this and I'm surprised this is the dialog I keep seeing on here after a big road win

Great win. It would have been nice to not have them score in the 4th, but I'm a happy camper.
