@mikefreemanNFL: Source on Saints says Payton-Rob Ryan rift story is "very accurate." Says been brewing for some time, worse than people know.

If I was a betting man, I bet working under Payton is no easy task. He sucks this year and is taking out his frustrations on the D coordinator.

Sean Payton isn't a very good human being, I'd prefer to be Rob Ryan in this one

They don't need a rift. Defense sucks so he needs to go.

Payton has to do the same as Tiger Woods if either wants to go back to the top. Make up with old lady and just get some strange on the side

This must be the type of rift that caused John Harbaugh and Cam Cameron to part ways.

Lol. Payton blaming defense for not stopping people when Brees consistently leaves them in horrible field position and on the field the whole game. Lol

Didn't say or imply that offense doesn't suck too. Defense has given up big plays too often. Saints are bad this year.

The saints defensive efficiency is 31 out of 32 teams.
But sure, its Brees and Payton's fault that the defense is bad.

You are a retard.

The defense can't stop anyone on 3rd Down. It's not Brees' fault.

Anyway, it's going to be Dennis Allen. Not much mystery there.

Also 9th in giveaways.
Wasn't the pick 6 against the Ravens what gave them the lead late in the third?

Brees also had 420 yards, 3tds and had like a 70% completion percentage. Think about that.

He's also the 2nd most pressured QB in the league.

The Saints just aren't good. Brees has to be absolutely perfect while also pressing to make plays and getting hit constantly, and the defense can't stop anyone.

They are just about last on D in 3rd down efficiency.

So?

The saints defense gave up 27 points at home to an average offense.

Baltimore's offense isn't average bro. I'm pretty sure they have like the 8th ranked offense in the NFL, and are 6th in the NFL in rushing. It's no surprise they ran for like 250 yards against out pathetic defense. Baltimore's offense is way better than average and they certainly showed that Monday night.

It is totally the defenses fault the offense managed 17 points against Dallas and 10 points against Cincinnati. All the pick 6s and game crushing turnovers are the defense's fault too.

Let's face it. The Saints are just all around horrible. They are lucky 6-10 probably wins the division.
