Yea, I consider that a comedy, but of course Gremlins is the GOAT.

Watching Black Christmas (1974) now. I wasn't expecting this movie to be good, it's great. I was astonished at how much John Carpenter ripped off of this movie for Halloween.

Not as overtly Christmas, but

Pyscho takes place in mid December.

Also the Shining and Misery are both wintery if not necessarily Christmas themed.

For cold themed horror I'd add "30 days of night" and also "ravenous". Not a huge fan of 30 days, but it's all I can think of off the top that hasn't been listed.

And I don't know if I remember correctly, but is seems as if "an American werewolf in lo don" was set in winter. Not that it centered around it
