I didn't think we would suffer this much without him honestly

He has played very well. Especially on defense. And the bench was already thin enough as is.

Yes. It kills your depth, and on a night when Tyreke is going 2-15 and Rivers is 1-5, maybe you don't have to lean so hard on guys that are struggling.

Reke and Rivers are not good shooters, so teams can just sag off and clog the lanes. At least Gordon kept them honest.

Yes, because we're essentially wiping our arse with 15 million dollars. Just a waste of money if he's not playing.

Apparently my faith in EG and his abilities were not wrong.

contracts aside, EG is the more important player to this team the way its constructed right now.

Can jimmy graham lift his arms above his shoulder?
If he can, can he do it without pain?
EG and any basketball player can't because that means they can't even shoot a ball lol

But if it was a player to go down, I would have rather reke than EG anyday of the week. We are "guard heavy", but after the first 3, its a steep fall off the cliff.

maybe we can go ask for jeremy lamb from OKC...

Rivers has been a pretty big disappointment. This is a big opportunity for him to show he's ready to take the next step but clearly he isn't.

Jrue needs to start making teams pay from deep. Until someone can do so constantly, teams are going to continue to double AD/Lock down the paint and the Pels will continue to struggle to score.

there is nothing monty can do about it. guys are getting open looks, they just aren't hitting. and free throws are freaking killing us.

I don't think Rivers is a starter. He needs to go back to the bench. Salmons can start.

We would be much better if EG was available, regardless of his contract. Hell, we very well may won the last two games if he'd been available, imo.

I agree, his defense and his presence on the perimeter at least kept defenses honest. still hoping that they can figure something out without him.
