I rarely drive down Jones Creek but I did so today. I noticed that the Arzi's by Ralphs is now different. The sign was in a hard to read script (especially since it caught me off guard as I flew by) but I did notice the sans-serif text under said "Central American Cuisine."

Any ideas what the name is, reviews, menu...etc? I'm assuming it will be similar to La Reyna, which I like but have not eaten at in 2 years.

Not really like La Reyna. I didn't see any stews on the menu. There was some interesting stuff on there though.

The pupusas are the best I've had in BR. Taco salad and taquitos were ok.

They were cash only when I went last weekend.

I'd go back if I were on that side of town for some reason.

Interesting. Any idea what it was named? Not that a new cash-only place is likely to have any sort of internet presence.

Is that the place that was originally a KFC?

Then an Arzi's that also served pizza, and a catfish place, now La Guanaquita and Arzi's again?

Is the place haunted?

It was originally a Kentucky Fried Chicken before they changed to KFC.

anywhere in BR to get good fried green plantains?

Besides my mom's house. She doesn't like to cook anymore.

Building looks like it might have been a Burger King at one point too haha.

It always looked dirty to me even when it was Arzi.

The Central American food sounded good to me though. So it is already closed?
