I thought A&M was a rival. Matter of fact many on here declared Sumlin the next great coach in college football and that they'd be a program we'd be looking up to in the rankings for years.

You can look at it that way if you want. I'm not happy that we're 8-4 (4-4), but we are.
Life's too short. I'll choose to be encouraged going into the bowl game and into the offseason. And I have reason to be encouraged. We still have a ways to go, but we could be damn good next year.

Every coach in the SEC but Saban has down years. Even he lost 2 last year. Richt, Spurrier, Sumlin, that offensive genius Malzahn. Fla can't even find a decent coach. Miles has proven he'll bounce back after a down year (3-4 losses) and make a title run. Now if we drop 4 again next year, I'd say we have some problems.
