I can feel the heat coming from Pelini's seat.

Nebrasks may not have the recruiting base that LSU has but the right coach could build a team of 4 stars imo.

The majority of that fanbase still think they are a relevant program. Solich got the boot after 9-3

9-3 IS not impressive in the big ten.

I don't think Nebraska would hire an FCS coach. Maybe Bohl would have gotten a look had he stayed and won a fourth straight title.

They've hired assistants their last 4 successful hires. The lone HC was Callahan so who knows.

With Nebraska? Yes it is. 8-4 / 9-3 every year with the one year every 5 years that has an 11 win national contending season is what Nebraska has become. That's their ceiling.

This a billion times. Plus, that team and program is not advancing in any way

He can't feel the heat coming off the street. All he wants to do is dance.

I have Nebraska ML +105 for a nickel. I chalked it up as a loss about an hour ago. Big 10 football is an abortion

I doubt he's really going to get fired but if he does I think it's less just looking at the 8-4 or 9-3 records but that those records have meant losing to almost every good team they play.

More importantly, it's far too often that they have not even looked competitive against the 1 or 2 actual Top 10 quality teams they face every season.

Sounds awfully familiar to LSU.
