And that's why we don't often break long runs for a TD. We get good blocking up front and even to the LBs but we often have cb coming in from the sides to make tackles or at least contain the run until a safety gets in there. The wr must get better at during the jobs in this type of offense.

You serious? Our WRs are pretty damn impressive in run blocking.

What our WR's don't do well is run routes. Their cuts are not sharp. They are slow off the line and have trouble getting any separation from the defender. Jennings is not an SEC caliber QB but damn if our receivers don't help him out. The pick last night was partly Travin Dural's fault. Jennings would have thrown it no matter what but Travin got punked by a guy half his size.

You must've been watching a completely different game than me last night. Everyone was busting their arse in run blocking.

I'm convinced you are talking about that one play where they showed this on TV.

Dural is poor at run blocking and route running.

The play where Jennings busted outside and had nothing but green grass in front of him if Dural would have blocked his man is a good example. But, the DB runs right past Dural and tackles Jennings for no gain or a loss. The TV announcers blamed Jennings, but if Dural had blocked, it would have been a HUGE gain. And, he was right there in front of the DB. Just didn't put out the effort. Landry/Beckham make that block last year.

Dual missed quite a few key blocks that could have sprung big plays.

Diarse from I saw looked good. Don't remember Quinn and Dupre.

I was impressed with how well Dickson blocked on some of Jennings runs.

But with Dural missing a few key blocks, he is the WR in on most packages.

No, he's right. There were several plays where the wr wiffed on blocks.

And yes, there were several solid blocks as well.

Grade C......There just is very little excuse for missing a block on a corner. At least stand in his way

This has been a problem all year but people are too busy bitching about Jennings to notice it. QB is not the only problem in this passing game.

This makes the lack of jet sweeps even more frustrating. It's an easy way to get the ball to the flankers on the edge, and we ran it like twice all year before last night.

Dural, and Dupre, are pretty thin.

Like some people said, Diarse blocked pretty well, but he hasn't played that much this year.

There were a few options where the CB comes up and makes the tackle, because Dural couldn't stay engaged with him.

I think that is one of the things we didn't realized we would miss so much when Jarvis and OBJ left.
