Nope......he still cannot throw the ball with much accuracy.....if he's the QB next year...I don't see any different results.....8-4 or so.....

I agree. He plays hard but I can't see him consistently positioning us for a win in those games where we face a team with strong defense. We will be somewhat average if he is the QB.

No. QB must be able to go through more than one read and actually throw passes consistently.

No. A&M defense sucks. Just really sucks. Stupid is running rampant today.

Les Miles thinks we are all idiots, the fans, the players and the media. He goes around for 3 weeks after such piss poor QB play and tells people for the most part that Brandon Harris is going to play in the last 2 games and he doesn't even play a series in one game let alone both. He even states after the game last night that he would have liked to have gotten BH in the game and that it was a mistake on his part to not do so. So basically he is deflecting and saying let them hear what they want to hear and then do whatever you want to do because there are absolutely ZERO repercussions and he knows it. He is playing everyone for a fool including BH.

If anyone is remotely happy with how our QB played last night then they don't know football. Jennings was still only 57% on his passing for 107yds with 1-TD and 1-int, hell he ran for more yds than he threw for 119yds. We are not going to beat "and this year proves it" championship caliber teams with QB play throwing for 107yds and a 57% completion rate. We are not going to win Championships with that kind of play. We can win 8,9, 10 maybe even 11 games a year "including bowls" with that type of QB play because of our running game and defense, but we will not win a championship with those types of numbers if we can't pass the ball better.

To put Jennings play in better perspective

Completion % - 48.8 - Jennings is dead last in the SEC
Passing yds- 1,460 yds - Jennings is dead last in the SEC
Passing efficiency - 115 - Jennings is dead last in the SEC
TD's thrown - 10 - Jennings is dead last in the SEC
INT's % per Attempts - .032 - Jennings is dead last in the SEC

What is absolutely crazy is we actually won 8 games this year with starting the statistically worst QB in the SEC.

I am not bashing Jennings here, I really like Jennings you hear nothing but great things about his work ethic and he obviously has had no off the field issues or tweets stupid shite. I truly want the kid to succeed on the field and off the field but I want LSU to win championships also. That being said we can't win championships with the kind of QB play we have had this year. We can beat shitty teams like TAMU last night but we can't beat teams that can stop us from running the ball like Arkansas, Miss St, Auburn and Bama did.

And the worst part about this is that I think we have all seen this story unfold before and the ending sucked. Jordan Jennings is going to get the nod because he has the experience and he does just enough not to lose his position. We have JJ for another 2 years of playing time when we all thought he was out of eligibility.

I would have rather lost that game last night "although I don't think we would have with how we were running it down their throats" and rather seen what Harris would have done, than won the game with that kind of QB play.

If anyone is expecting Harris to win the starting job during the spring or summer better think again. This is JJ's team again and we all are going to have to suffer through this one more time.

Out of 21, how many? 4? 6? Couldn't have been more than that. Not acceptable for a starting QB in the SEC, and Jennings will probably agree with that. However, "horribly inaccurate" doesn't fairly describe the other 15 to 17 passes he attempted.

Dude, comprehend what I'm saying. On the ones he misses, they were horribly inaccurate....not even close. Underthrows, overthrows, ints....he ability is very limited in true passing skills...I'm not ranting.....it's just honesty.

I feel better if it is against a team with as poor a run defense as A&M. Will I feel better against Auburn and Alabama. Probably not.

I don't. Still hold my breath when he goes back to pass. He's got a lot way to go.

Pumpers point to your last statement and say (gleefully), "See? LSU is great, all's well, just wait until next year."
Sensible people, otoh, look at the body of work and shake their heads ruefully, knowing next year will be same as this year long as AJ is our starter.

No not really but at least we won the game should have been a lot more points scored by the way we dominated them.

No, he can't complete any number of passes, slant, middle or long. So, no I do not. If he is the starting QB next year, LSU will make another appearance in the fish bowl...

No. I got a better feeling of what the offense could be, though. Which is a positive.
