10-3 is the norm so subpar

I'd call it a solid D.
My first hard-line point of view was this. But I looked at the improved (mostly) defense and decided this was more of a plus than I'd first considered.

But apart from Fournette, I'd give most of the offense (other than our RBs) a D, and that is charitable.

Sad to say, I appreciate his effort, but his results would earn AJ a big (and overly generous) D- but at least last night he looked better than usual on his feet. Passing still leaves much to be desired and makes it hard to fairly evaluate receivers and tight ends. Little consistent improvement over the season. Maybe that's really not his fault, but the coaching.

Oh and as I have said along these threads repeatedly all season, I am no fan of LSU mediocrity. And definitely do not appreciate the hang on for dear life at the end of the game and hope the clock runs out before they do kind of coaching our team gets from CLM.

This season was a D. We got curb stomped by half our division opponents and the only thing to develop at all for next year was the defense. Offensive recruiting will be interesting to watch with the monstrosity we put on the field this year.

After Wisconsin I didn't think that we would win a game in the west or be able to beat Florida. I thought that I was being realistic thinking 6-6 at best. Looking at aTm in week 1 I thought that we would get blown out by them. I am glad I was wrong

I'd give the season an overall C like most others have said. I do have some reservations such as our defense seems to fall apart in the last 2 minutes. Yes they improved from the start but still leave issues in the last 2 minutes. Offensively, the performance was sub par. Sure we can run the ball but still can't pass and the play calling is too vanilla at best. Special teams definitely went down from previous years.
Lastly I don't why anyone thinks we will be more competitive next year. Who did we beat that was any good this year? Olé Miss and Wisconsin is it. All the other teams beaten were just pitiful at best including Florida and if the Aggies would have gotten the call for neutral zone infraction we'd be 3-5 in SEC.

Couple of decent wins against WI and OM but we took some outright horrendous a-- whippings against MsSt, AU and Arkansas.

Nice win last night but never should have been so close on the scoreboard. Just tired of this playing not to lose philosophy. Miles needs to take a look at the mirror, come out of his 1/9 shellshocked mindset, rid himself of the dazed look and go kick some AL and SEC a--

Just looked at where we are in recruiting right now - 8th in the SEC. Long way to go but the list has plenty of 3 stars with a couple of 2 stars, including the QB recruit. Pray we close strong in recruiting and keep the Juniors.

This year gets a C-. A lot of opportunities missed, two incredibly tough losses. Lots of mistakes that shouldn't have been made, and - as expected before the season began - lots of areas for improvement. We'll get better. But this season has been pretty rough.

ruining Ole Miss' perfect season is enough to give it a B, IMO.

the only loss I was upset about was Auburn, but only because it was a blowout. That shite sucked. The rest were about as expected.

I love how this fan base bitches and bitches the entire season and then when it's over "OMG I MISS IT SO MUCH."

I think many think we played D+ ball 4-4 in SEC

But we tend to grade on the curve thus we give the C

In corporate Amercia this kind of performance would require a managment change
