Delahoussaye was money for most of the season and will probably be fine by the time the bowl game runs around... plenty of time to work out the kinks.

I don't agree. His kicks look shitty. Even his 50 yard game winner against Florida was a duck. His extra points are rarely down the middle, and that is an augury of what will happen on his field goal attempts. I was holding my breath before that short miss.

Gamble didn't even kick FG's for his HS team. Apparently can't even keep a kickoff in bounds 50% of the time.

I saw him kick one out of bounds. Has he done more that I missed? Or are you making that 50% up to embellish your agenda? I remember another kicker kicking out of bounds as well. What are your thoughts on that? Get rid of him as well?

A 45 yarder isn't that impressive at all.

Both kickers missed a FG last night. It happens.

Good news, Domingue looks capable with shorter kicks (although, again, he missed one, too). Bad news, Delahoussaye has really fallen off after the clutch kick @ The Swamp. Delahoussaye and Domingue are both sophomores.

Gamble is only a freshman and has a pro potential leg - I think we're fine.

On the other kicking spot, we only have 1 pure punter, Keehn and he's a junior. Domingue is listed as a PK/P, but I'm not sure he's punted in a game, yet (He was All-District as a punter in HS). So, we're going to need a punter in the 2015 or 2016 class.

Every phase of our special teams were terrible this year

Meh. Our coverage teams were fairly solid - with the exception being against a return man who will be primarily a returner in the NFL.

I thought place kicking was good through Florida - since then - not so much.

Punting has been a strong suit, a Keehn shank here and there notwithstanding. We did well enough to put 2 punts on the Bama nothing line (but for an assist by the refs on the first one.)

Hopefully it's a physical issue and not a mental one. The former can be healed by the time we play in the bowl game. Seeing as how our offense struggles to score points, we need a reliable FG kicker.

PK was good until Florida, and it's been bad the last few games in some really critical times. Also, BDP may be ST coordinator, but I'm pretty sure the PK's and P's have a specialist coaching them.

There aren't any kinks to work out. It's mental.

Unless he can get it out of his head, he'll continue to struggle.
