Satisfactory YPC tonight against A&M

I'm going to be disappointed if we don't average 5+. This is supposed to be our coaches and team philosophy or "M.O." We're playing one of the worst teams in this category. We should dominate on the ground tonight.

This offense never does what we expect. Just be grateful if we pull out a W period

Missing Porter is going to hurt that some, but we should still run well

Bump. Averaged over 6. I say mission accomplished. I liked how we were more dynamic in the running game. I'm all for the ground and pound but you have to be dynamic and nuanced within that philosophy giving the defense multiple looks to deal with to make a predictable run game less predictable. Some of the stuff reminded me of the kind of things the 49ers do when they are rolling (obviously they weren't last night). Anyone else think the same?

After the game I switched over and caught the end of SF-Seattle. The 49ers were running one of the exact same plays we ran last-jet sweep, or fake jet sweep and off tackle dive.
