Is okay to fry but I'm not so sure that's safe. Am I over reacting.

It is not safe at all. This is what will happen

Just be damn sure there is not a bunch of ice on the outside .....otherwise, you may just have to lower the temp to get the inside cooked without burning the outside...

btw, the fastest way (without cooking it) to defrost anything is with running cold water (per Alton Brown). So put your drain stopper in your sink, but cracked open a bit, then run the water at a level that matches how fast it is draining after covering the bird with water.

Im sure you are trolling but if you don't know how to deep fry a turkey, I would suggest you ordering pizza

Dude if you even have a little ice you may launch the bird right out of the pot. I saw a fully thawed bird jump out of a fryer. They forgot the gibbet pouch and the blood/water expanded to fast it launched, of course bringing just enough out oil to burn his deck down.

But give it a try, one of you gets to say "I told you so"

Do not try frying it frozen. This is literally how people burn down their houses every year. Yes, I mean literally in the true sense of the word. The ice turns directly into a gas(sublimation?) becuase it's so hot and you get a turkey bomb. Don't do it.
