Seriously mad at myself for skimming that piece of crap article. Should have stopped in the first paragraph when he said Brown was "walking home to his grandmothers house when he was gunned down by a white police officer" (not the exact quote but I can't stand to open the link again to look.) this guy and his "activist and academic friends" look down on everyone else thinking they are better. frick them and frick him. Go hang in the ghetto and see how that works out for you.

When whites were presented with true injustice in the 1960s whites put political pressure on the politicians and laws got passed to correct the injustice.

When whites see the bs accusations of racecism we stop caring.

3. Use words that speak the truth about the disempowerment, oppression, disinvestment and racism that are rampant in our communities.

Be mindful, political and socially aware with your language. Notice how the mainstream news outlets are using words like riot and looting to describe the uprising in Ferguson. What’s happening is not a riot. The people are protesting and engaging in a justified rebellion. They have a righteous anger and are revolting against the police who have terrorized them for years.

It was written by a female blogger.

Don't get too uptight about her awful opinion.

I bet Ms. Woods would have a different opinion if they went into her neighborhood.

ETA: Also this piece was written in August.

Yes, black lives matter. His life ceased to matter though when he attacked a cop.

I had to stop reading when I got to this "Michael Brown was a good kid, by accounts of those who knew him during his short life..... He was a sweet kid on his way to college next week."

Any person stupid enough to spout this ignorant crap is not someone that I would ever listen to.

But an unarmed black teenager minding his own business walking down the street in broad daylight gets harassed and murdered by a white police officer and those same people seem to have nothing urgent to say about pervasive, systemic, deadly racism in America?

His death isn’t tragic because he was a sweet kid on his way to college next week. His death is tragic because he was a human being and his life mattered. The Good Kid narrative might provoke some sympathy

Mmmmm, not really

Such a great, upstanding kid bound for college

Did this whore write an article about the 14 year old white girl in Kansas or Oklahoma or something who was kidnapped, gang raped, and murdered; and when the group of african american guys who were arrested and charged confessed to their motive being the color of her skin?

No, I don't think so. Apparently that girl deserved it, because she was privileged

1. Learn about the racialized history of Ferguson and how it reflects the racialized history of America.

I live in the south, I proudly live among the most racist people in the USA. I understand why white people hate blacks, and I understand why blacks hate whites. Each is a complex problem either born from ignorance or experience. I have enough experience to know not to take advice on racial issues from anyone other than educated southern folk, especially this count.

2. Reject the “he was a good kid” narrative and lift up the “black lives matter” narrative.
His life didn't matter, it still doesn't. It's not his fault though, he was a good kid.

3. Use words that speak the truth about the disempowerment, oppression, disinvestment and racism that are rampant in our communities.

No, white people don't care. Any oppression experienced today by the black community is derived specifically from the lifestyles they lead. If you carry yourself as a TPOS, you will be judged by society as such, not white people. People who work, people who have opportunities to lend, and doors to open do not want them wasted on the ungrateful. You reap what you sow.

4. Understand the modern forms of race oppression and slavery and how they are intertwined with policing, the courts and the prison industrial complex.

Modern forms of slavery? You know how I know you're crazy? Did she just bring up sex trafficking in a race bait article on how white people can fix black people's problems for them? Ole Mayor Rudy said it best, police officers are only in black neighborhoods because they are the worst fricking places in the US. The courts only seem out for black people because they are. They are there to enforce the laws that black communities have no respect for. And guess why the prisons are overrun with a high rate of black inmates? Because they are the one's breaking the laws to get themselves put there. It's a simple cause and effect. Break the law, go to jail. It's not whitey's fault. He didn't tell Mike Brown to steal those cigarillos, walk down the middle of the street, and then get into a fight with an officer of the law. What's the saying? Play stupid games, get shot by the motherfricking cops. Something like that.

5. Examine the interplay between poverty and racial equity.

Poverty is each man's burden. Except the Jews. But to everyone else, you make your own way in life. There's a point in life where you can tell if those advising you are taking you down the right path or the wrong one. If your parent is a failure, why would you not seek other guidance? I didn't take education and career advice from the janitor, I chose my most intelligent family member to listened to and went from there. The interplay is education, fricking get you some. Or just go get turnt up, whatever, I don't care.

6. Diversify your media.

Yeah, I branched out and clicked on your article, big fricking mistake.

7. Adhere to the philosophy of nonviolence as you resist racism and oppression.

I wholeheartedly agree with this stupid bitch here, but you must be prepared for violence. There is a time in every normal person's life where your rights will be infringed by pieces of shite. When that happens, having plan B is the way to go.

8. Find support from fellow white allies.

Oh shite, she learned what we secretly refer to each other as! Flee White Allies! Flee! We will reconvene later!

9. If you are a person of faith, look to your scriptures or holy texts for guidance.

Only black people receive racial guidance at church. I have never been to a single mass where race was brought up. Ever.

10. Don’t be afraid to be unpopular.

frick you. If we're just saying random shite that comes to mind, there's mine.

11. Be proactive in your own community.

Well, I'm white so.... I always am.

12. Don’t give up.

What are we even talking about? I know you wanted to make this thing 12 points, but you had a lot of these that are just generic fortune cookie quotes that have nothing to do with how white people can be a better friend to blacks. Also, goodbye everyone, it was fun while it lasted.
