What the hell about this offense says you need a mobile QB! its run left...run right...run up the middle...play action...you could have anyone back there.

This offense doesn't necessitate a mobile QB. It necessitates a QB who can make fast accurate reads and throw the ball well out of the play action. This is why we struggle with young QBs.

So "anyone" could make an accurate read and throw after having their back to the entire field for a full two seconds? Interesting that anyone can do it, yet so many people struggle at it.

I think he's saying mobility isn't a pre-requisite for what we attempt on O.If it is, why are still looking at pro-style QB's. If it's not, why did we convey that to Rettig/Rivers?
