things you truely think that could fix this team. Nothing stupid, something that could happen next year and realistic.

1.mark Ingram walks no contract and give Roberson the starting running back job.pt backup.
2.get a Reggie bush/sproles running back not wr like cooks but a running back late in the draft.
3.Bree's redoes contract free up space to sign a top corner that's not over the hill and a top guard bye bye to some o lineman.
4.fire oline ,special teams, trainer(to many injuries every year, need a better trainer with good conditioning skills),Joe vitt bye bye, secondary coach bye bye.
5.Dennis Allen enough said, I don't care if he isn't the defensive coach but need to be our secondary coach.I know that for a fact. Just in case next year fat mans defense lays stinkers he can take over in the middle and try to salvage it.
6.draft olineman ,linebackers, and corners and maybe one running back thats a sproles type player.
7.if rob stays try to convince fat mans brother to be the defensive line coach.
8.run baby run. True offensive line shift commenment to the run.
Those eight things are realistic. The reason we suffer in the secondary is lewis is the only true corner we got and Greer isn't there. If we had a second true corner at the start this year I truly believe the secondary could of been better and set a good tone to the season.Cooks is great but he is more like a lance moore wes welker type player not a bush/sproles player so we need to find one, or coach needs to create a total new game plan focusing on the run and just let Bree's throw less.

Why we didn't draft DeAnthony Thomas absolutely blew my mind. Would have been a steal and perfect fit in this offense.

Are you saying what you want to do in like the next 3 or 4 drafts?

Play out the rest of the 2014 season in San Antonio.

They'll stop pining for an NFL franchise.

It hurts my brain trying to read that grammatical piece of garbage.

I agree, I hoped we double dipped for DAT or Archer.

Can't believe we missed on McCluster in FA too. He's rotting in Tennessee, but his cost was high @ 3yr/9mil.

20 receptions 168 yards in 11 games (this year)
53 receptions 511 yards in 16 games (last year)

Should've taken either Fuller, Gilbert or Verret in the first round and drafted Jordsn Matthews to replace Colston. Kids going to be a stud.

Going into the draft, what was our biggest concern after the Seattle loss if you need a reminder:
1. WR - we were aging and needed someone that can do some damage
2. #2CB - we lost Greer, but got PRob back from injury
3. ILB - we knew Hawthorne was our weakest link and we needed someone with good lateral speed and high IQ
4. C - DLP was done, over, finished, weak link, etc.
5. Safety - Harper/Jenkins hasn't worked for nearly half a decade, it was time to get younger (Vaccaro) and get someone worth a damn.

So what did we do?
March Free Agency:
1. Byrd shored up FS
2. Signed Lorig to shore up FB and commit to the run game
3. Re-signed our own FA's RT Strief, TE Graham
4. Signed Champ Bailey
5. Match Rafael Bush

So going into the draft we had question marks at:
1. WR still
2. ILB still (If we run a 3-4, if we run a 4-3 it'd be "OLB")
3. CB longterm (Bailey was a 1-2 year patchwork)
4. C still (Didn't sign anyone or re-sign DLP)
5. OLB (outside of Haralson, we're shitastic.)

So what did we do? We traded a 3rd round and selected Brandin Cooks in the 1st (WR attempt)
Draft Projection: 1

Took a project CB in SJB with 2nd round pick. The new "prototype" size and speed of these Sherman/bigger corners in SJB (#2CB attempt)
Draft Projection: 2, seen as early as late 1st (Seattle)

Took a problematic LB with talent in the 4th round. Khairi Fortt was a 2013 Butkus finalist. He had good size 6'2 240lbs, speed 4.70 40 time, and power 30 bench reps. In comparison to 1st round talent Luke: 6'3 240lbs, 4.58 40 time, and 27 bench reps. 2nd round talent David: 6'1 230lbs, 4.65 40 time, and 19 bench reps. Problematic player stayed problematic. Got cut by us, signed by Cincy, and then by Jacksonville. (ILB/OLB attempt)
Draft Projection: 3-4

Vinnie Sunseri - 5th round safety. Solid special teams ace since college and can play his position at an adequate level if called upon.
Draft Projection: 5-6

Ronald Powell - 5th round OLB. Rivals #1 overall guy in 2010. Solid measurables: 6'3, 240lbs, 4.65 40, and 21 bench reps. Can play both OLB and DE, which we do switch often. Issue? Tore his left ACL twice in 2012. Played in 12 games in 2013, started 8. Flyer pick at a pure pass rusher with previous injury concerns.
Draft Projection: Rounds 3-4

I really don't get you guys and your "we should have draft 'x' player" when we couldn't even get close enough to draft them. Have you actually seen them play either? Verrett is the only worthwhile one of the 3 you listed...

Justin Gilbert - 8th overall
Kyle Fuller - 14th overall
Jason Verrett - 25th overall

Gilbert got benched earlier this year and didn't see a snap vs. Houston. He's only saw significant action in 7 games and he's actually being outplayed and losing snaps to UDFA K'Waun Williams.

Fuller is undersized, but he has got a nice nose for the ball. He had a nice game vs. SF (2 ints), but rarely made a difference since then.

Verrtt is on IR, but he had a solid 6 games and was the only one in our grasps of the 3.

Why not be reasonable and say Bradley Roby? He's a nickel corner for Denver behind Talib and Harris Jr..

Why not Darqueze Dennard? He's actually like their 4th or 5th CB.

I agree on taking Matthews though, but we couldn't have gotten him either unless we're spending a 1st, which means no Fuller, Gilbert, or Verrett.

We originally picked 27th: Fuller, Gilbert, Verrett, and Dennard were gone. @21 giving up a 3rd, Verrett and Dennard was not worth it.

We picked 58th: Jordan Matthews went 42nd, Jeremy Hill went 55th, but we surely could have gotten Jarvis Landry (63rd) and get a new possession receiver to phase out Colston. But why would we double dip when SJB was there.

I hope we take a look at Antone Smith this offseason. He's going to be cheap. I think he'd do awesome in our offense.

If we had not jumped to grab Cooks, Verrett may have still been there.

1-3 are likely I think.
4 I hope he shakes the coaching staff up a bit but who knows what CSP does.
5 Hope so.
6 We need vets at LB'er I think and when did we last draft there well? O-line and CB will be addressed in FA and the draft no doubt at all about that.
7 Robs going no where and 0.0% chance his bro comes to town.
8 We did this year. In a few games that we were behind in I was actually calling for less runs and more passing.
9 Better play calling from CSP and drew.

no one knows, it could have sent off a chain reaction of reactionary picks or screwing someone over (I'm sure philly would have picked cooks).

draft: all about the what ifs lol
