When 20 idiots surround your car, some on your hood banging on your window only hours after seeing all the trash in Furgeson the smartest option to keep you safe is to gtfo of there by any means necessary.

I'm convince that the dude with 20 people on his car did the best possible thing to keep himself safe. How is he to know what the frick these 20 people laying on the hood of his car screaming shite at him is planning to do. I would have been scared shitless and I would have laid my foot heavily on my accelerator until i got a few miles away and happily called the police.
Put yourself in that situation with say your infant child. Wtf are you going to do open your car door and say hey guys please don't hurt me and my child or my property?

I'm dumb? Did you not watch the video at the beginning of the thread. The fact that you try to compare your experiences stopping for pedestrians to having a mob surround a motor vehicle is just sad. There were a ton of more people around his car before the video started, so I am sure that played into the driver's panicked mindset.

The video (in the OP) picks up once he gets through the initial mob with people still on his hood. He also didn't gun it when he hit the lady. He was going the same speed the he was basically going through the mob at. The dumbass woman just got caught under.

I did not compare African Americans to Klansmen. And if you watch that video (which I'm beginning to think you did not) they're are white people in that mob. So your attempt at race baiting failed. I'm simply trying to convey that it was an unruly mob and if the driver feared for his safety he is well within his right to get to safety by any means necessary.

The link you provided seems worse. They didn't seem to slow down at all; granted, they weren't flying, but where's the harm in just stopping & waiting. When the person got into the right lane, they clearly didn't stop until the woman had been hit.

Yeah. Nothing ever bad happens when a driver does that.
