I like the direction of Ruckus. Wish they would have kept going with that sound for studio albums and stuck with the hard funk live.

Correct. 2002-2006 Galactic was incredible. The post Houseman era & pre hip/hop-18 different lead singers era. Their Mardi Gras show at Twiropa around 03 or 04 is one we still all talk about to this day.

Not the generic lolnola funk stuff that all sounds exactly the same

Ruckus is a pretty unique sounding album. It's good.
