does anyone know if I can get a money order using a credit card?

Not a postal money order...has to be cash or debit. Dunno about other kinds of money orders.

You will find it very difficult to find a retailer that will accept CC or checks for any MO.
Cash is king and even debit is more acceptable now, but most will want the guarantee of cash without risk of fraud and any transaction fees.

It's called a money order for a reason.
That's said you could cash advance (terrible idea) on a credit card and then purchase the money order.

Contact your local money order issuer and ask.
That said, it's a hell of a way to tack on even more fees. Sorry you're in that situation.
