Texas A&M team stats 2014

Looks like they are giving up a pretty good clip in yards per rush attempt. Though I guess they could "stack the box" on us.

I'm sure we'll make their defense look all world.

They could stack the box with all 22 players on their defensive 2-deep and not stop our running game. Those guys can't tackle.

It does seem like the teams that did shut down or running game like MSU, Bama and Arky had stout defenses and could do so without necessarily stacking the box. (Not sure about Auburn).

Not sure how our O-line will perform with on out and another coming off of being nicked up though.

They will all look like 1st round draft pics, trust me.

Our only hope is the 15yd + passing game but seeing that the last 3 years you've been able to shut that down when we had a Heisman qb and a future pro bowl receiver, you really shouldn't be worried.

Why wouldn't they stack the box on us? Literally no reason not to. Of course they will be stacking the box.

If QB and WR play sucks we will suck. If it's even just halfway decent we will run all over them.

I guess the question is can they stop our running game even stacking the box?

Doesn't even matter. I bought this up last night to Dukke V because he thought I was kidding about how bad TAMU's run defense is.

Kansas gave up around 440 yards last Saturday and 427 of it to a 5'11 243lb true freshman. After that game, they were ranked 107th in rush defense. TAMU is ranked 107th. Meaning that prior to that game, TAMU was statiscally worse in run defense than Kansas. For reference, Kentucky is ranked 99th in rush defense.

I believe Fournette runs wild. Hopefully he runs off a 200 yard game like many RBs have been doing like crazy this year.

LSU wins by 21+ without throwing more than 10 high-percentage passes.

A&M's strength runs into the teeth of your defense. Your strength will run all over the defense. Besides you guys owned them when they were good. I don't see that stopping on Saturday.

No! We're going to lose the battle of the demoralized fanbases!

So the stats say LSU is in the top 10 or 15 in almost every pass defense category, any recent pass defense injuries or changes that may impact this?
