Anyone have any experience with how he does on whitetails? He's very close and I'd like to hear reviews before calling him up. I'd like to see any of his work he's done for ya'll as well. I was going to bring it to David Bush, but he can't get to it for a long while.

My advice is to find a taxidermist that is an artist. Mounted game will bring you a lifetime of reliving the memory. Find the best taxidermist you can afford and wait for him to do your mount right.

I can't tell you how many amazing specimens over the years that were mounted by crummy taxidermists and basically ruined. You only get once chance to mount an animal do it right the first time.

All that being said haven't heard of either taxidermist, if you need birds done I can recommend several, deer I am of no use.

He mounted a few of mine. He did a good job. I use Guy Adams now. I think he does the best job around this area.

Guy is a good guy haha. He's also a game warden so don't be bragging about shooting that buck at night.

I've used Guy Adams and Freddy Smith for various animals, they both do great work. The last few have gone to Guy.

Yeah I heard he was a warden, but It's a legal tagged buck so I'm good.

Any of ya'll mind posting pics of the mounts each did for ya'll.

David Bush does take a long time but its worth the wait. I got my deer back last month and it looks really, really good. It took him over a year to get it back to me.

He's family and told me it would be a year and a half...If I can bring it to someone who is close to as good with a fast turn around I'll do that. This is my first deer mount and I'm just impatient.

I know the feeling...this was my first mount also. I just wanted to make sure it was a quality job and would look good for a really long time. Since your are family, I imagine you have seen his studio many times and know the quality work he does. The dude is legit.

Guy usually takes 9-10 months to get a deer back. Here's another one he did for me a few years ago.
