Look at Wallace.
FTR, Wallace 2789 yds , 63%, 22 TD's, 10 ints so far.
Aj has thrown for 1353 yds, 48%, 9 TDs, 6 ints so far.
Bo Wallace was a 6-4, 185 lbs, 5+s 40 2* recruit. I don't care what style O we run, but I'd say Freeze gets more out of his 2* recruit than we're getting out of our 4* recruits. And it seems like when OM's O bombs, that the exception. In our case, when our O functions, that's the exception.

He's said this many times, Harris lost the confidence of his teamates, and that is why he won't play him!!

Really sad when we turn a top ten program over to Miles/Cam and no QB in his right mid will come to LSU.

I don't think the fitzwater kid can step right in and play for us, but I think Kelly could. Kelly seems immature, but he has a swagger about him. He's the more talented JUCO qb.

were recruiting a JUCO in the event that Harris or Jennings gets hurt next year and we have no depth.
Plus, at this point, the position is a big concern for us--we have no evidence to suggest our QB play will improve significantly next season with the QBs we've got. Instead, all we've got are assurances that Harris will "get it" by the start of next season and the things up. These assurances aren't good enough for me.
Bring in a third guy who can compete from spring training.

For the record, AJ had a better QBR against Arkansas than Wallace did.
And in the final analysis LSU is 7-4 with a good chance to be 8-4, and Mississippi is 8-3 with a good chance to be 8-4.
Why would everyone on here rather the QB go 16/31 for 235 yards with no TDs and 2 picks rather than 12/22 for 87 yards no TDs and no picks? Just because it's more 'exciting'?

Well chalk one up for AJ.

His o just put a zero on the board with a sr qb.

Talk about false choices.

A 2* QB I might add.

Then why hasn't Harris won the job?
Is it really just the coaches?
Rumor network (inside money) says Harris has an "I/Me", spoiled brat problem

Hard to learn on the bench...the coaching staff said he was ready when they played him early in the season and started him in our most hostile road game....since then I guess they think they were wrong or have given up on getting him live snaps.
Actually the last 2 Heisman winners were redshirt freshman. Sitting a year and learning the syste, not to mention maturing is the best thing to do IMO. Look at the successful LSU QB's since 2000.
Rohan saw no playing time his freshman year
Mauck redshirted his freshman year
JaMarcus redshirted his feshman year
Matt Flynn didn't start until he was a senior
Mettenberger sat in 2011 and learned the system even after going the JUCO route.
All evidence points to sitting as the best choice.

Too bad we didn't have a really good Juco QB in the NCG to come in for JJ in the NCG. Nevermind that would take game time adjustments

That was almost 3 years ago, let it go and move on. It will make you feel better

Just a reason why we won't go JUCO.

Have we ever had a JUCO QB?

OK, but that was by "circumstances" created at UGA.

Said this in another thread but people also have to understand with the difference in some of these JUCO qbs. Fitzwater was under recruited outta Hs and had to go to JUCO Kelly on the other hand was dismissed but had talent (had Bama offer out of HS). So people have to see that that's two diff juco stories.
