Gotcha, thanks.

2012 Rummel was very good. People thought they could compete with Curtis that year, IIRC.

Is the 2014 version of Rummel close to the 2012 team?

yea. QB is JR who has 2 state titles under his belt. He really runs the offense well and will play in college somewhere. they have 3 solid RBs, good OL.

on Defense they have 3 SEC caliber players. 2 along the DL and 1 in the secondary. Brandon Phillips is also a great player in the secondary who doubles as a RB.

Heading to my first high school game in about 10 years. I haven't seen any of the teams play this year but I would think Rummel will win state again.
But a Brother Martin vs Jesuit state final would definitely outdraw Rummel/Curtis. The two biggest high schools in the city with tons of local alums

and this is why i think Rummel/Curtis would out-draw.

lack of overall interest by both schools.

Rummel and Curtis have bigger following, and on top of that will draw out fans that wouldnt usually go to the game. This game has been brewing for 20 years almost

He didn't start as a freshman, Damian Williams Qb'd that year and he started as a freshman in the '09 championship game against West Monroe...

Fourcade didn't start until the third or fourth game last year, as a sophomore.

Hope it's a great game and you enjoy yourself. Crusader Band ALWAYS wins!! They really "brought it" against Catholic. The kids are starting to get excited.
