Both should be great games. It'll be curious to see that BM offense against the Curtis D.

Also, it's very hard to beat a team twice in a season. Rummel better be prepared.

Who ya got?

I think Rummel gets caught congratulating themselves on their successive state championships and national ranking, and drops a close one to Jesuit. Curtis will beat BM by 10.

I'd like to see Jesuit vs Brother Martin in the dome for the state title (even as hallow the distinction of "state champ" is these days).

As much as I want to see Rummel vs curtis, I fhink BM is better.

Jesuit doesn't scare me much

Rummel is going to destroy Jesuit. They had their chance to beat Rummel and couldn't pull it out. Rummel won't mess around this time.

Brother Martin and Rummel.

Brother Martin is just better than Curtis. Rummel's defense is a horrible matchup for Jesuit.

Yes.

The Brother Martin Crusaders.

Don't tell your Muslim friends their nickname. It's not PC.

Jesuit's D looked pretty good vs Rummel in the first matchup. Were they playing over their heads?

No, Jesuit is a very good team. I just think they did some things defensively that Rummel wasn't prepared for the first time around.

Looks like everyone struggles with the Jesuit defense. It must be good.

If Rummel is to blow them out, they will have to do it with Fourcade through the air. Otherwise, it will be a repeat of the first game.

Brother Martin is better than Curtis. Will they come through in a rare must-win postseason game? If they handle the option well enough, they will. Curtis really is not very good this year because their offense is so limited.

It will be Brother Martin vs. Jesuit in the Superdome for the state championship.

But I'd prefer John Curtis vs. Jesuit, only because they've never played before.

Curtis vs Rummel because that's what the LHSAA higher ups want to see.

Hoping the Crusaders win, I don't "count chickens" or make predictions. I hate for the other shoe to drop on me.

Brother Martin
Jesuit
John Curtis
Rummel

You could pick ANY 2 of these to play and it would make for a great state championship game.

Not seeing the logic here.
If the LHSAA actually had a hand in determining who gets in, I think they'd prefer a Jesuit/BM game. Can't imagine what kind of crowd that would draw...
