Even LSU players recognize that Harris is, by far, the better QB option for the Tigers! For real.

Neither is good enough now. The offseason, fall camp, entire OOC gauntlet was not enough time to prepare either to be very effective. Then, the SEC rolls around. I just don't understand why the position looks so difficult at LSU.

Reading this board, you'd think it's the first time in history a true freshman didn't get playing time at the hardest position on the field.
Well we finally agree on something. Seriously, you'd think they'd drop this shite with 2 games left in the season, but we all know how entrenched QB factions get on this board and within our fanbase.
Let's see how things shake out in the spring.

Yes, trout, LSU is the only school in the country that has a talented true freshman quarterback on the bench.
Nope, just the only one that continues to sit a true freshman on the bench while the "experienced" sophomore QB puts together performances like we saw at Arkansas, not to mention we out of contention in our division and have already clinched bowl eligibility.
Even Muschamp was smart enough to make the move.

Harris has way more character than the "he should transfer" posters. He's not leaving and is going to give the coaches no chance but to start him going forward. Will go down as one of the all time greats.

Well supposedly he's teaching Harris a lesson. In the meantime, we're not competing for SEC or national championships . Independence bowl here we come, we gotta teach a true freshman a lesson

Don't tell them this, there are people that actually believe he would have been in the running for the Heisman.

Who said he was leaving ?

And who cares if the Harris kid "tweets" in this information, instant communication world we live in ... For what it's worth, the kid is "smart" and lives in the now ... Wished our coaches did ... Or, at least realize that Harris is not an "unusual" 18 year old. Get a grip and play this guy (soon) or he's bailing. Why wouldn't he? He's gonna be a great QB for somebody. I just hope it's the Tigers!

So ur saying that harris would have been no better than arguably the worst qb in the country

The same people who are mad that he's not playing

The sad thing is that these same people want him to in order to be right and prove a point.

Had Harris taken snaps from Day One, I'm confident LSU would have beaten both Bama and the Hogs!

Tell me with a straight face with his natural ability that we would have not had a better chance with him under center our starting qb averages 130 yds a game with a 50% completion rate

Yea, that's certainly the norm, which is why it has been done precisely twice... ever.
And actually, and I know you already know this but the poster you responded to probably doesn't, a true freshman has never won the Heisman. Not once.

AJ is a great kid, too. But, he simply has not shown the potential that Harris enjoys! Harris has the "want" and the abilities to win championships. AJ has the "want," but not the (sufficient) abilities. Just say'n ...

FRICK a Heisman the dude is twice the qb Jennings is... Harris has a shot at the nfl with his natural abilities while Jennings won't sniff arena football that is the point here play the better player

There's no way to know. Would we have gotten MSU Harris or Auburn Harris?

I'm in the "play Harris" camp, but not in the "Harris should transfer because he's not starting as a true freshman" camp. Even though he's not getting playing time this year, I think he'll get his chance in the offseason.
