If he leaves, I want no part of him anyway. I don't want someone with that kind of character to be my QB.

Just go win the job!

You mean 123 yards/game, and a solid 47.9% completion rate.

He is not leaving. He is committed to this team and university. He really enjoys and looks up to Miles.

What you think Jennings won us the game vs Ole miss thank the D and our Drive with 10 + runs and a play action at the one yard line

That's great to hear but that will upset some of the "fans" on here.

So, put him in the pistol and build an offense around the skills of a superior

From what we know of miles and Cam what makes you think either one would do this? It's pretty clear that they aren't going to build an offense around one player. Cam will NEVER run a pistol or spread offense. He has a NFL mindset and that's not going to change.

Winston and Manziel were RS freshman. Huge difference.

Harris should have RS as well. But staff couldn't find it within themselves to lie to Rettig for at least one more year. Bad move on their part.

We get it. You want harris to play as do all of us. No need to continue to pile on Jennings.

Agreed, I don't think any less of Harris because of the Auburn game. He's shown what he can do against NMSU and MSU (granted MSU was garbage time until our last drive, but our offense still looked a lot better with him in).

There's no way to know. Would we have gotten MSU Harris or Auburn Harris?

I'd rather have the toss up of MSU Harris/Auburn Harris than the toss up of MSU Jennings/Auburn Jennings (which is virtually the same person every...damn...week)

Harris has outperformed Jennings in every game the 2 have had substantial snaps in. Auburn is a close call since both played poorly

Stop with this. What teams in the NFL still run this archaic offense?

Pretty much all of them. It may be single back, but the majority of NFL teams don't run spread or pistol offenses. NFL teams still take the majority of their snaps from under center.

The best teams in the NFL have one thing in common. They can lineup and run the football. I'm sorry you want and Oregon style offense, but the fact of the matter is that style of offense has never won NC's.

Quote me where I say I want an Oregon style offense?

No. Just because they are under center, does not mean the offensive scheme is the same. LMAO. Triple option out of the flexbone is under center, I guess that means it's the same as well?

There is even an article out there about how when Cam was at Baltimore they were the only team using FB/2TE sets the majority of the time, etc.

Pretty much NO teams in the NFL run our offense. Just because an NFL team "can line up and run the football" doesn't mean they come out with 1 WR, 2 TE and a FB. No. The best teams are spreading the field out and running the ball. See Wisconsin, where we began spreading the field out and shockingly enough, our running game picked up substantially.

By far the vast majority of Tiger fans from both sides of the isle are rational enough not to advise Harris to transfer. Most are concerned that, with Miles' history and stubbornness, Harris might bolt when he realizes that his playing time potential may not increase as long as Jennings is available. I am not saying he will, but there is always the possibility.

Who's talking bad about him? He was as awful as the defense that day. No reason to sugar coat it. Magee had a quote in the post-game that Brandon was struggling to just call the play in the huddle. That on top of the smoke of him maybe not putting in enough effort in the film/playbook study it's not that hard to see why Miles went with Jennings. I'm not pissed that we didn't just hand over the keys to Harris. I just wanted him to have a few series a game like we did with Perrilloux in '07.

This is really stupid, for lack of a better word. You're putting out a scenario with little to no basis in reality.

Is it possible? Sure. Anything is possible. Why not start a post "if X person is killed in a car accident, this is how I'll feel."
