I'm def in the minority but I got midway thru season 4 and quit. Just lost interest. Yeah yeah I'm weird. I didn't like any of the characters except Saul and the show was depressing for my tastes. Skyler is awful in every way
Dude.
I hated Skyler too, but I wanted to see how far Walt could take it.

C'mon man.
It's cool to see the progression of Walt and how out of control his life has become.
I mean I'm tempted to watch the very first episode after I'm done with the show and just see how much different Walt is from the beginning to the end. It's been a crazy metamorphosis. Even to see where Jesse's character was to now has been great.
It's just crazy how nothing ever goes as planned. During every episode, I watched Walt and Jesse pull some stunt or job and just waited for something to go right for a change. So far, that never happened. Closest I thought something was about to go as planned for them was during the "methlamine train heist" but the other shoe dropped
The writing has been fantastic. The only episode I can say I did not like was "The Fly" so that's a pretty good track record.
I agree about Skyler. I would have just lived by myself in that condo.

Am I the only person who cant stand Walter White?
Are you kidding me? Skylar the whore and her idiot sister are two of the most unlikable characters in modern television.

I agree the writing and acting were fantastic.
I wish it was Skyler's head on that turtle

They move at about the same pace.

Started Watching Breaking Bad
Two weeks ago and about to be finished:
Congrats. I watched it last year and ended up watching the whole thing in like 11 days. Great show.

I loved Breaking Bad, but I was not a fan of the first season at all. Even the second one was painful at times. I thought it really hit it stride in season 3. For that reason alone, it's not my personal GOAT.
Also, watching Peaky Blinders, I get the feeling this show could end up being really huge.

I thought that was a pretty integral episode. At the very least, it was an absolutely fricking brilliant episode.

Yea. My bro just told me that episode won an Emmy. I think I was a little harsh. I probably just need to watch it again.
Also, I take back what I said where you wind up hating every character. That's not true. I love Hule -spelling. Goodman's Bodyguard. Love that guy.

I agree, but it was frustrating.
ALLLL this crazy shite is going on and you get pretty much nothing new
Upon a rewatch I really appreciated it.

nothing about a bottle episode yet?
y'all slipping.
OP, you're going to cry. This feels odd, one grown man telling another grown man that he doesn't even know and will never meet that you'll have tears streaming down your cheeks like you may only experience a handful of times in your life.
It's going to happen, and you won't be ashamed. Then TV will be ruined for you as nothing else will compare to Breaking Bad.

After finishing Season 2, I think that Peaky Blinders almost ranks with Breaking Bad as outstanding TV.
There are some great performances and a really fresh and surprising setting.
