Are there any New Orleans bars that show Pelicans games? Preferably not in downtown/CBD.

You can probably ask just about any bar to put the game on and they will.

That's true, but I would rather go to a bar that actually just shows the games because they want to and because other people are also watching.

I couldn't agree more. I bartend in BR and put every game on... At least when I'm working. Bad part is, about half the time someone asks to watch something else. Pisses me off.

I go to bayou beer garden sometimes for them, but no audio and a couple times I had to ask them to put the tv on it, but they were always willing, and they have super cheap beer and good food

Once they start winning and make the playoffs the city will hop on the bandwagon. Until then I have yet to find a pelicans bar. I would try Henry's uptown.

Where do you tend bar? You are in a unique position to establish an official home for Pelicans games. Take advantage of the situation.

Can't get wild watching the Pels at a bar that typically attracts yuppie scum. Pass.

Tracey's has potential. I know my boys Gus Katingale (sp?) and Dino Hansen post up there from time to time. I need to check it out for a game.

Really? I haven't been to that place in ages. Used to frequent it when I had a sidepiece living on Bellaire.

The district usually has the games on. Great setup but no audio (I don't think) and overpriced drinks. I rarely go in there.

Most bars will just have the game on. You probably won't find any with audio of the game.

Yeah I'm just hoping to eventually find one that does, whenever we keep winning more and more the city will hop on the wagon and the bars will too, they play the audio for saints games so maybe they will eventually do so for us too!
