Marucci doesn't produce good BB core bats. I don't think any college uses them

This is correct. I spoke with the equipment manager last year and he stated the gloves were the deciding factor. The team likes Wilson.

I think Southeatern used them too.


Also, when Easton messed up their bats one year, Oregon State used Marucci bats in our regional.

That is correct. They had a few models that failed to meet the specs and were illegal. The coach usually will go with the manufacturer that gives them the best total deal. Bats, gloves, helmets, catchers gear, etc all come into play when deciding
