I love the turn of the century architecture and craftsman stuff in particular.

I live in a neighborhood full of those type homes. Swiss Avenue ....google it.....is about 200 yards from me. I run and ride down it all the time. Adjacent to that is Junius Heights. My house was built in 1929 but is a brick tudor style. Hollywood Heights is a neighborhood about 1/2 mile from me that is the largest collection of preserved tudors in the country....All those areas are protected. Immediately around me, all the old craftsman bungalows are being torn down for McMansions. I almost don't recognize some streets anymore....really sad.

I'd look around Silver Spring or hell, even College Park. I spent quite a bit of time in shitty little Wheaton and I could wake up, hop a metro, and be anywhere I wanted to go in the metro in roughly 20 minutes, 25 tops. That's a little further out than Silver Spring, I think one or two stops.

tl;dr: look north, I'm almost certain you would be able to find something classy like a Howard Johnson for under a hundred a night.

Looking in the 150-200 a night range at the moment and like I said, I just went to priceline and started to search. Looked like a nice hotel, had great reviews, and through the little description it said only a few minutes from the sights.

LBD Zombie Dust
Mad respect for ZD but just not my personal favorite. I would take Yellow Rose over this 100% of the time

FandOnlyBD is a GitM batch 3

So good. Nose is still amazing. Definitely more citrusy than tropical, but still get the grapefruit. I like the additional carb. Essentially I agree with most of the opinions on the board today. Enjoyed talking to Andrew about it. He wants to make "the best double IPA out there". I expect more tweaking of the beer in the near future. Exciting stuff. Great day yesterday.

I just read some history on that house. Interesting stuff.

No more beer for me tonight. Busy day at the office tomorrow.

Work?!? WTF is that about?

Watching this game, stumbling home, then donuts and the zoo in the morning.
