Whenever I ask democrats what issues they don't believe that more gov't is the solution to and I narrow it to fiscal issues and other issues that don't have a social slant to it, I typically get nothing.

i'd be happy to do that for you right now. Give me a list of issues you want me to address.

The question was what issues you don't think the gov should be involved in. You provide the list

Are you in favor slashing both military industrial complex spending and welfare-entitlement spending to reduce the debt?

Are you in favor of taking that money and giving more funding to NASA and restoring the agency to their pinnacle of greatness?

Are you in favor letting insurers sell across state lines and broadening the healthcare market?

Are you in favor of closing a significant number of colleges and community colleges here in Louisiana to raise the value of a college degree?

Are you in favor of a balanced budget amendment?

And for social issues, Are you in favor of private establishments having the right to refuse service for any reason whatsoever?

what was his point? that the right leaning posters on here are liars and hypocrites who can't handle an open and honest political conversation?

give me a list of problems in this country that you want to talk about and as a liberal i'll tell you which can be solved without government intervention. What is so hard about that?

around here but do you guys really believe the only reason people vote D is because they want free shite?

No doubt the majority do, that is why Obama had his speech two weeks after the arse whipping the dems took, he is trying to get more voters on the dole.

maybe. would there be a loophole for wartime or other such emergencies?

i think this would be a good ideal to work towards but i don't think we're at a point in this country where that would a) be applied responsibly or b) not induce a lot of unnecessary social unrest among minorities.

No.

Disappointing.

So much incredible innovation and science has come from NASA and many of the technologies we enjoy today are here thanks to concepts developed by NASA. It's absolutely criminal how we have neglected the agency. We should've put a man on mars a decade ago.

But at least you were honest on reducing both right wing and left wing spending.

Only way I would be comfortable with such a loophole is if it required 95% to 100% of congress agreeing to lift the restriction for these scenarios.

In the age of the social media and technological revolution, we are pretty much there and you see that when businesses are pretty much selling their souls to avoid bad press that can reach anybody in an instant when they frick up thanks to the Internet, 24/7 news, and social media.

What I really dislike is the new policy of lying about everything and every issue. To tell a lie on everything Obama says or does is disgusting. That's the policy of Sol Alinsky and the communists that are so anti-American. I was exposed to his book and philosophy in a college course, but the professors then did not agree with it or support it, just presented it. All of the Obama bureaucrats lie in every interview or committee testimony.

Dims don't consider lying to be a character flaw. When the Gruber shite hit the fan you had Pelosi and Obama saying they did not know Gruber but here comes the archived video clips of Obama and Pelosi acknowledging Gruber's contributions to Obama care, if this shite was happening pre Bill Clinton these politicians would be shamed out of office now it's no big deal.

Wow.

I guess Democrats went over to Africa and Haiti and destroyed the black family there, too.
