2003 - National Champions

2007 - National Champions

2011- SEC Champions, NC appearance

Every four years. I'm not a positiger or a negatiger. Just a realistiger. Odd numbered years tend to be more productive numbers-wise also. I'd like to think 2015 will be a run that goes deep into December/January with some QB/offensive coaching development this spring.

And in the season before each of these great years we looked championship worthy.

2002 - 8-5 (6-1 before Matt Mauck got hurt)
2006 - 11-2
2010 - 11-2

I don't see the same trend this season

LSU will never be anywhere near a playoff with jennings at QB
that's tough to accept but the truth is hard sometimes

2003
2007 2011 Each one of those seasons we had a pocket QB who could throw when needed to make a play NOT a DUAL THREAT QB... we will be in trouble again next season if AJ or BH can't throw with accuracy to the receivers. Having no passing game was the reason pretty much why we have loss four games this season ...

What leads you to believe LSU will improve enough on offense to compete for the sec west next year?

How do you expect this with a brand new O-line

Not sure how much they will improve but they will improve just by having played this year. The experience of this year will be huge for these guys as they work through the off season and get ready for 2015. The freshmen didn't understand what preparing for an SEC schedule really meant, now they do and I think it will translate into more productivity.

I do agree that QB play has to get better and going forward Harris is our best option. Love Jennings as a Tiger but he just hasn't progressed this year.
