Look, if you don't believe in Miles, believe in the players. I'm not going to argue with you because for one, we play a weaker version of every team this year minus Arky. For two, I personally believe that Harris will start and will dominate after a few gameswith all the weapons he has at his disposal. Those include Fournette, Williams, the #4 RB Guice, and a 6'0 235lb RB/FB with track speed named Ducre. Think of Samaje Perine with better speed.

From the outside it just looks like LSU is in a rut, kind of like Nebraska under Solich was about a decade ago. Miles has not shown that he's the guy to rehab the program from good to consistently very good/great. The inconsistency on the field just seems to reflect the culture Miles fosters off it.
I don't know how you pull the trigger on such good guy (Miles is hard not to like), but if you're lucky then maybe he gets another offer and leaves and everyone is happy.

LSU went 8-5 in 2008. Three years later we were playing for the NCG. It happens. And Les has obviously brought in the talent. LSU will be back. You can bank on that.

Does anybody remember how bad Jennings sh-t the field against New Mexico State?
2 interceptions and a fumble in less than a half.
Harris led LSU to 9 TD drives in his stretch of play at the end of Ms St and half the game against NMSt (9 straight possessions taking out the hail mary at the end of Ms St).
Miles banished Harris after a bad start against an AU team that had us as their offseason target. I mean come on. Not even close to fair and equal treatment of players. And Miles did it in 2011 with JJ and JLee ......
