Doug Martin (questionable, ankle) got the majority of first-team reps this week. Martin missed the last three games with his ankle injury. He should have an opportunity to regain his starting job after Bobby Rainey and Charles Sims failed to impress in expanded roles. The Bucs run-scheme has been a disaster under rookie OC Marcus Arroyo, and rank last in the NFL with just 217 attempts. Martin isn't more than an RB4 for Sunday's game with the Bears. Apparently Lovie might go back to Doug Martin, and I'm afraid Sims will be put in a timeshare in an already poor offensive line running game. I thought he'd have the majority of snaps but now...

Should I pick up Helu instead with what I imagine would be a blown out WAS? Herron in what I presume would be a 30/70 split with TRich against the surprisingly strong run D of JAX?

Still got Martin on my bench. He'll still suck.

It's literally like playing a RB2 I thought Sims with 80% of the snaps against the Bears might get me 7ish points but now I doubt it sigh

Still convinced Martin was a one-hit wonder and we all got suckered in past few years but TB run game as a whole is awful.

But i find it funny because earlier in the season Lovie was using every excuse not to give Martin a feature back role....now he's willing to give him another chance after we heard for weeks how Sims was "his guy"

Dude has played two NFL games. What did people expect?

I wouldn't even start a Tampa RB as my FLEX. Their running blocking is horrible. But I said this 4 weeks ago and nobody here has listened it seems

Yeah, I literally don't have another starting RB so that's why I was going to start him this week. I'm switching him out for Helu.
