Even though they claimed at the beginning of the season that the game was sold out and would be the largest crowd to ever watch a football game in the state of Texas, apparently with this article in today's Bryan/College Station Eagle, the game isn't sold out. Looks like they blame it on their students and us.

Tickets for Texas A&M / LSU still on sale

Neither team is playing for anything, both are having mediocre seasons, and they are not rivals to begin with

I think it would sell out simply to see who wins, the shittiest offense or the shittiest defense?

They think we are a bigger rival for them than we think they are for us. Ole Miss, Alabama, and Auburn are much bigger rivals, but they don't understand that.

I've tried to educate them since I live in CS, but they are so desperately trying to find a new rival to take the place of Texas, Baylor, and Texas Tech.

Here's a crazy idea, don't play the game on Thanksgiving night. It would be a sell out on Saturday.

Better go watch the games that both teams played at AU and take another look at how "crisp" LSU has played on the road this year.

Odds are greater that we get blown out that game than that we win handily.

Just IMHo and most people I talk to have the same opinion.

What were they expecting? It Thanksgiving night. It might have worked when you had two cults playing each other.

Good. I hope their stupid Thanksgiving idea falls on its face and has terrible attendance every year they do it. Although those idiots will never give it up because they think they're sticking it to big brother by playing on Thanksgiving too.

So what?

If both teams were undefeated and playing in BR that night, the game would be sold out. Same with CS.

Thanksgiving isn't a huge deal to most people. Half the country probably doesn't celebrate it.

This may be the most ridiculous thing posted on the rant lately, and that is no small achievement.
