Which plant is he going work at? That's about all there is in plaquemine. I wouldn't mind living in plaquemine, addis, brusly, port Allen, or White Castle and work in plaquemine. We have people that have been driving from Gonzales to plaquemine for over 20 years. I wouldn't suggest that, I don't see how they do it. His best chance of finding something to rent is in brusly, addis or port Allen. Sugarmill plantation apartments in addis are nice. Pricey, but they're the nicest apartments that I know of in the area.

I'm not moving there...I just moved back to Birmingham from MS....brother has only been out of school since May so I doubt he has funds set aside to purchase right now.
