Deputies on lookout for escaped work release inmate

Nothing official released, but I work in the area and what we are hearing the man raped a woman in the area. This is all speculation and what has been told to me as of now, and will update with information as it is released.
ETA: Just informed the man has been caught and is in custody. Will link story once reported.

people wanted EBRSO to take over BRPD. That seems a bit silly if they can't keep control of inmates and they violate the constitution.

Purely speculation, but appears the man raped a woman around about lunch time today and fled in the area. Please if anyone has any family in the area please alert them and to be careful.

Could have been non-violent prior, but it is pretty certain this is what occurred today, which is just shitty. I know these programs are there to help people turn lives around and ease back into society, but I hate hearing criminals that are out on work release roam the streets and allegedly commit crimes like these.

I agree, I think that should be one of the first things released when an alert like this occurs. Unfortunately, as of now we have nothing but to be on look out for suspicious men in the area.
