The dude has laid a massive egg at USC(w) since they hired him before last season.

Dude went 2-16 last year in Pac 12 play, and is currently on his way to a worse second year.

I always thought it was stupid on USC's part to hire a coach based off of one flukey tournament run.

He's pretty much terrible, but USC is a trainwreck largely because Kevin O'Neill is the worst recruiter/coach in the history of college sports. Enfield basically has to start from scratch. They're starting three freshman and two sophomores and USC isn't exactly pulling UK talent.

Isn't that guy like ridiculously rich off of something besides coaching too? I Think he just coaches CBB for fun.

Bad hire and bad idea for someone like him who has no need for the money or the pressure to leave his cushy small beach school for a bigtime program.

Does USCw traditionally care about basketball? I can't remember the last Trojan team to make a deep tourney run.

Seems like the program has always been in UCLA's shadow, which is understandable I guess...

That guy is living the dream.

Played at Harvard (or one of the Ivy Schools).

Led the NCAA in FT %.

Went to Wall St. Sold his company for millions.

Married a model and moved to the beach.

Coached a sick Gulf Coast school to a dream run.

Sold out for millions more to live in LA.

frick all you haters

No one is hating on him for living dream, just his current coaching status.

Obviously he can't be judged yet bc he inherited a shite show, but I'm surprised they aren't more competitive at the moment - just lost by 20 to Akron.

they talk about his team making the sweet 16, well if they were so good, why were they a 15 seed?

Kinda strange for someone who coached at Arizona, and was under Lute Olson.

Well when he took over after Lute he ran them into the ground too. It's a shame they hired Miller.

I think it's always a bad decision to hire a coach based off of one fluke tournament run.

It's so reminiscent of when we hired Stan Heath after his Elite Eight run at Kent State.
