Can we talk about how shitty ESPN's apps are?

This is a carry over from the Gaming Board. The ESPN app on my Xbox One is almost unusable because of long start up time (2-3 min), unresponsive/laggy menus, and long load times for videos.
On iOS it's better, but not by much. Originally the ScoreCenter app, now the SportsCenter app, and soon to just be known as the ESPN app has gotten worse. On start up it's blank and unresponsive for the first 20-30 seconds, then it will reload the scores that were being viewed the last time I looked at the app, then it will load the new scores. So all is well now? No. The touch targets are still unresponsive for another 10 or so seconds. Menu switching takes 3-4 seconds to register.
My questions are do their apps on other platforms suck as bad and when are they going to step their game up?

The new ScoreCenter/SportsCenter app is shite I agree. Terrilble attempt to move towards the iOS 7 asthetic and it failed miserably. They spread the info out for statistics for in-game stuff and make it more difficult to find and see what you want at a glance.

I only use Watch and don't have any problems on my Rokus or Androids (with or without sending to Chromecast).

Watch isn't bad on my Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad, but it's not that great either.

Example: Ok, I tapped the play button on the LSU game 5 seconds ago and there is still no response. Is it working? Is it frozen? Is it... Oh there we go...Commecial...LSU game plays for 2 seconds and freezes

I'm not sure I agree, simply because of how awesome Watch is. I watched Gameday in the car and had the audio playing over the speakers. Not to mention the huge amount of games they show. Remember the old days of having to order LSU games on that shitty PPV network? Now I get them in HD from anywhere.
As far as scorecenter, etc. I use CBS Sports for that.

I agree that they are great products, certainly better than what we had just 5 years ago. I'm saying they are poorly written and seemingly have no desire to improve them.

In addition, the SportsCenter app crashes constantly. My friend and I were keeping up with NFL scores on the drive back from the Arkansas game this past weekend and it crashed every 20 minutes or so... this is on both my Galaxy Note 3 and his iPhone 5

Has to be the shittiest app I have ever used. The one for Xbox 360 was much better.

Mine had trouble staying in sync with a freakin 1 gigabit fiber connection. It was always crashing.
The appleTV and roku are a bit laggy as well. The iOS/Android apps seem to do better.

Watch is great as well like others have mentioned.
I hate the Scorecenter app, it's so terrible.
