Anybody have any experience with them? What kind of steel am I looking for?
It seems weird that a Benchmade is only 42 dollars. But they even have a section on the official Benchmade sight.
LINK
Really liking this one.

I've never heard of 8CR13 stainless being used on a knife. Second knife has a better steel and handle
154CM is good. S30V is better IMHO

I have one
It is good for what I use it for which is tearing shite up. Not necessarily slicing with it all the time, sometimes i just tear through tree bark and shite while im splitting logs

I'm having great luck with my blades in this material.

While I agree, I'm not certain it is worth the premium. I haven't had a lot of experience, thus far.

Most higher quality knives have been using it as their steel for the past 10 years. The price of the knife probably has more to do with the manufacturer and quality than the type of steel

So there are no apparent "watch out" stuff with this line? Probably just regular Benchmade stuff rebranded as HK?

It looks like the Nitrous HK is the same as the Griptillian but with assisted open

Looks to be lower quality to me, but idk. I'll defer to Yat27 on this one

Definitely not regular benchmade rebranded
It aing bench made at all. My HK came dull, so I called customer service and she told me that HK uses bench made branding and it actualy doesn't come from them at all but because I ordered it from their site to go ahead and send it back in and they would put an edge on it
So benchmade was not involved at all in manufacturing my knife
