So there you have it, Miles won't start Harris because he's a terrorist, and he starts Jennings because that's Miles' future son-in-law.

So very clear now that you point it out...

Honestly, I think that worries the coaching staff that he will go "off script" and potentially make a bad play

If this is true, the the coaches may need to re-assess the risk involved. How many "bad plays" has AJ made this year? Dozens? Geez. Now, I guess it could be worse inasmuch as the offense could give up TDs, but 123 yards and 0 points is really, really "bad" if you ask me. What could they worry about being worse? Really?

Through 11 games roughly 44 quarters

Jennings has played approx. 37 quarters
Harris has played approx. 7 quarters closer to 6 including Miss St.[1/2 of 4th]New Mexico St.[3 quarters] and Auburn [3 quarters]

Harris has about 65 yards per quarter
Jennings has about 36 yards per quarter

I guess I just do not understand

well Jennings isn't exactly "ready" either

Jennings isn't the future. They can more afford to turn him into damaged goods.

I totally understand everything I need to know about Brandon Harris.

The coaches see Harris at practice and know how he is progressing

We all are certain that AJ is not ready and it is extraordinary unlikely he will ever be ready. Poor kid is a total head case.

Not a head case at all. Just poor at completing throws consistently. Decision making is actually improved. Problem with the last game is the line played like dogcrap

It seems more or less that Les played Harris at Auburn game to prove a point, which if he knew BH wasn't ready then continue to play both QBs. I don't understand his game plan sometimes, most of the time, all of the time. I imagine a world with a good LSU QB and a Gr8 offensive line.

If THATS the reason I wasn't getting the PT I wanted, I would watch film almost every second I could. He has to know why (at least by now). At least by now, hopefully, he has done something about it. This is who Miles is. This is who he has been. Some younger guys have been exceptions but older and more experienced guys knows what it takes to play for this staff and it appears by all accounts that Harris just took too long to learn.

Since when did film study become optional? And that line of thinking makes no sense or explains why he would start against Auburn but not recieve any meaningful snaps or series since. This whole argument seems contrived.

I believe Harris main thing in the Auburn game was the speed of the game and it got out of hand so fast. He was wound so tight it affected his accuracy. Because in the games prior he was quite a bit more accurate.

But thats not the case. Harris is supposed to prove to the staff by his preparation all week that he deserves the job more then Jennings. If at this point in his career Harris lets Jennings arrive earlier than him, leave after him and watch more film than him, then it's fault.

Being in the presence of film longer than another person has shite to do with being the more capable QB. If you don't understand what you are looking at, simply sitting in the room longer does not help nor prove anything.

Reports are that Harris finally got it and has closed the game, but it's his fault he got outworked so much.

Unless Harris has been out of the country there is no way he got "out worked" in the film room to the point he couldn't relieve the shite show we have witnessed this season for a damn series here and there.

The margin of error between Beckwith and Welter was obviously smaller than jennings and Harris, but the concept remains.

Really? Because Harris has actually out performed Jennings with a lot less opportunity. That's based on facts from their performance on the field.

Man, I'm one of the biggest Miles fans out there and even I have to admit, I'm certainly frustrated and annoyed as to why he will not give Harris a chance, at least at this point in the season.

Jennings, and this isn't a shot at him by any means, I've said this numerous times, puts in time studying film, tries his hardest for the team but he's simply not a SEC caliber QB. Again, not dumping on him at all, I admire his work ethic. That being said, he has been in the system and has progressed very little from last year's bowl game to now.

I'm completely baffled why Miles refuses to give Harris a chance now. The season, for all practical purposes, is over, there are only 2 games left, he's burned his redshirt, Jennings is struggling, it can hardly hurt to give Harris playing experience. If Harris comes in and stinks it up, then so be it, at least you'll know what you've got from both scholarship QBs.

I'm not making excuses, I'm just explaining how the world works to the ignorant masses - to include you.

I hate to break the news to you, but LSU is not the nationally recognized elite program you want it to be. We don't just have our pick of all the HS QBs from all over the country.

He will never be ready from the side lines. I'm not saying he should be the starter, but allot more could have been done to prepare him for next year. It's pretty damn obvious Jennings is not the answer. Doesn't have the arm needed to pass a receiver open. There is no quick fix, but it seems like there is no effort to develop Harris.
