first off Im not your bro. Brah
Second its the poise and his throwing motion is better and he is not throwing off his back foot.

Yes it is all he can throw is the 9 route

Cam said in the Spring that Jennings tends to throw the ball high when he tries to put some zip on his passes. This is why he tends to lack much velocity. He tends to float the ball as a result.

He throws the same route in this video that he now throws to Dural.

No comparison to the competition he faces in college.
Maybe Jennings is an example of the Peter Principle. "A person rises to his level of incompetence".
Or maybe the coaches are screwing with his mind and he has become a victim of "fear of failure".
Or maybe the coaches have been doing that to all LSU QB's, except Mett who didn't let them get to him.
Who knows, but one thing for sure, LSU is having a tough time recruiting QB's who are able to succeed in the SEC.
Both Jennings and Harris were 4 star QB's in HS. Jennings won the Southeast Region Elite 11 QB competition against 85 other QB's and finished 3rd in the national Elite 11 against the 10 best QB's in the nation.
Between that and LSU something bad and ugly seems to come over them. What it is, no one seems to know!

We need this guy to show up cause the guy on this video is not at LSU.
Yea. Okay. Now it makes perfect sense. 7 minutes into the video roughly 18 plays not including replays):
1) not 1 highlight is AJ going thru a progression of any kind.
2) if his first read Is not there, he is tucking and running.
********
Exactly what we are seeing now, no?
This speaks to the question "why would CLM recruit a DT QB for his system?"
Well, this would be perfect for the 1 WR I-form sets he plans to run. In other words, he's only gonna have 1 WR & no progressions to make most of the time, so I WANT him to tuck and run if the first read isn't there.
A match made in heaven for him I'm sure.
