for me, I have two movies that seem very American to me, both of which make me long for "the good ole days".
1) A League of Their Own
2) The Sandlot

Black Hawk Down, excluding the foreign actors and director, is the most Murrican movie.

Dunno, but it stars John Wayne.

Would be thirty minutes long.

I wouldn't call The Sandlot the most American movie, but I would call it the official movie of us 90s kids.

1A: Armageddon. American blue collar oil field trash are the only hope to save the planet from total destruction. It has to be the most jingoistic film ever released.
1B: Independence Day. I give it credit for actually being a good and entertaining movie as opposed to a "so bad it's good" movie like Armageddon.
2: Saving Private Ryan. Ah, nothing better than good war romp book-ended with American flags and affirms Americans' belief that war is good.
3: Any John Ford Western: Because nothing is more 'Murica than killing Injuns
