shite, I'll defend by saying I was a hyperbolic high schooler. Although in context I was judging based off peoples posts on the board and knowing this place after a loss 10% may have been accurate.

FWI I'm not satisfied with our level of play but I don't think getting rid of Les is the answer

An SEC championship

In six years an SEC championship!? Is that were we are now? Are we ok to win once every 6 years and play Bama close or to overtime? For me I think it's a joke with the talent we have in La and that has passed though LSU since then. To me it unacceptable! Should we just hang on to Miles because "who else are we gonna get" sunshine pumpers?

I like the man just as much as anyone else and would have no problem at all with my son playing for him. But this is getting to the point that we are just hanging on like a bad relationship because we are scared of change and hoping it will get better.

IMO his window is closing fast, if he don't win a MNC with this team in the next 2 years or has another season like this next year, I believe he will be gone.

I completely agree with this but people calling for his head right now are just not looking at the big picture

I was thinking the exact same thing earlier today. I get tired of most of the BS posted here, but I just can't help reading it.

How in the world is any of this a defense of Miles?
If you were defending him then, and your forecast was exactly what eventually happened over the next six seasons, people would have said that's not good enough.

If this thread was revisited to prove if you keep doing the same things over and over you will continue to struggle...MIssion Accomplished!

6 years. Same damn problems in the program. Unbelievable.

Are you trying to imply Lee was better than JJ that year? Jefferson was great in 08 and 09.

Yes, some things never change. In 2008 a Les Miles team lost to a bad Arkansas team and face their coach his first victory over a quality team. In 2014, we see the same thing. At least it didn't take Petrino two years to get a SEC win.
