I'm not hunting public land in Louisiana.....too many hunters that don't know what they're doing

some of it is actually really good and not heavily hunted at all

these are mostly bowhunting only areas though

gun hunting public land in LA is fricking awful

Im on a small lease up the road and we just bought 113 acres in Mississippi. Theres nothing like owning your land and doing what you want with it and developing it and watching new deer show up every couple weeks. I hope to eventually own land that buts up to it.

Own a lot a couple of hundred yards from tensas nwr. Honestly for how good this area is there is very little pressure on it. Also hunt sherburine wma and Indian bayou. Public land hunting is very underrated. Plenty of opportunity.

1750 acre share equity on the river Valewood, MS. Big deer, ducks, coyotes, beavers and big gators to kill plus fishing. A couple members are farmers across the leaves and we goose hunt there...awesome place for kids. And cheaper then buying 100 acres.

Inlaws own about 5000 in ag that is 1.5 hours away so I rarely bother. Have 500 acre hill farm that I get to hunt so long as I coyote trap it.
Another 4000 ag that I hunt with 2 stipulations, they get called when I kill one and they are at the top of my list if there is a beaver problem.
