I thought colts already had a feature RB? I'll admit I don't keep up with them much. Is what's his name they got from Browns not doing much?

So ATL will go all in for him.

I say draft a guy in the 3rd round or later. Ameer Abdullah
TJ Yeldon
Michael Dyer

Is Lache Seastruck still on the PS for the Titans?

I'm with you on Melvin Gordon. Let Ingram walk if he asks for too much. Draft Gordon. Championship.

I still don't think he will be an outrageous price.

I'd say it's more likely he leaves, due to some team overpaying. But, I don't think he will get anything ridiculous. Maybe Loomis figures out a way to keep the guy.

You don't break the bank on a RB unless he's an all-purpose guy who can really make a difference. Ingram doesn't fit that mold. What he believes he is (in his head)...is a lot more than what he has shown in four seasons.

It's time to move forward. Draft a RB in the 3rd-4th round and try to find a FA who can effectively run the screen. Invest the $$$ in the O-line.

For someone to say the Saints don't use him appropriately is a joke. What they're really saying is he's unable to adapt to anything other than being a one-dimensional player. We're NOT going to change our system to account for his shortcomings.

We have too many holes on this team and can't afford to overpay an average player OR to waste a high draft pick (1st-2nd round) on a RB.

I would rather our first 3 picks be Guards and a T to be honest.I wouldn't mind a RB in the 6th or 7th round. As far as CB I would rather we pick up a solid veteran in FA, there will hopefully be some at a decent price after the season, maybe someone who got hurt this year and their team lets them walk. We will imo have to let either Grubbs or Evans go, don't think we can let both go. Hopefully we get 2 high picks at Guard and the better one start right away while the other sits a year. As far as T, just have someone sit behind Strief for a year or 2 that is a good backup, our depth there is horrid.

1) We don't use running backs in a manner which necessitates paying them a lot of money.
2) Ingram will receive a better offer from another team who will let him be the starter. (And not just because all of our other RBs are injured)
3) I think we fall in the middle of the draft (probably 15 again). That will be too high to take Gordon, but it may be too far back to get him in the 2nd round.

Just my 2 cents FWIW.

We'll actually probably pick in the 20s because we'll make the playoffs out of this shitty division

Do you think Adrian Peterson would be able to be snatched up for a decent price? Thoughts.

I promise every fanbase in the league is thinking this. He will not come cheap.

Why wouldn't AP just keep playing for Minny? It's not the team that's suspending him, it's the League.

Maybe every fan base but not every organization.Someone's gona pick him up why not us. I just have a feeling that he's done in minny. I truely think Ingram is going to demand more money than we are willing to pay him. Plus he most likely will go to a team to be a feature back not one with a crowded backfield.

Bradshaw - 29 years old, will be coming off a broken ankle. Can't handle a full workload any longer and has shown signs of breaking down. Pass

Moreno - 28 years old, will be coming off a torn ACL. Just 2 year ago people said he's breaking down. When healthy, he's a solid back. Issue is, is a 2-3mil investment worth it for a guy that might break down again? Probably not.

Ridley - 26 years old, torn ACL/MCL. Never been used consistently, but he has produced good running numbers. Issue is the same thing you run with Ingram, not a great pass protector and 1 dimensional. He also has a big issue, fumbles, something that Ingram doesn't have.

Vereen - 26 years old, I think NE will make it a priority to re-sign him. He's been the 3rd down back/everydown back when Ridley is in the dog house after fumbling. He can do it all and reminds me a lot of PT, but he is not that good of a rusher.

Mathews - 27 years old (28 mid-season), the DEFINITION of injury prone. Only one full season where he hasn't missed any games (2013), but he's a very solid RB that can do it all. He can definitely be a 3-down back we've been looking for. I don't like signing injury prone players, but Mathews can be a very risk-reward and he might take a 1-2 year prove it deal.

Gore - 32 years old, finally showing signs of slowing down. Has carried the ball 2345 times in his career, and looks to be phased out of SF very soon. I think he's done, aging RBs are pointless imo.

Helu - 26 years old (27 mid-season), he might be a guy that just needs to finally get his shot, but if he was good enough he'd already have beaten out a struggling Alfred Morris this year. I believe he has pass protection issues as well, so that becomes kind of useless for us.

I think our best bet would be Vereen and Mathews, but honestly if we can't afford Ingram, I don't think he can afford either of those. Vereen will probably get a McCluster type contract 3yr 9mil or 3yr 10mil. Mathews, someone will take a flyer on him and pay him 4-5mil/yr.
